The Alameda Aero Club is a small, all volunteer, not-for-profit flying club dedicated to promoting general aviation and providing our members with well-maintained, inexpensive airplanes. We are based at the North Field of Oakland International Airport, across the bay from San Francisco in Northern California. We have two aircraft that are available, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for club members. We also have an experienced group of full- and part-time FAA-certificated instructors to meet all of your flight training needs. Come and learn to fly with us!

Our aircraft are accessible 24 hours a day via our web-based reservation system and we maintain a generous policy for overnight and weekend reservations. You will not find a friendlier or more accessible club in our area. If you are looking for a complete aviation club experience, you've come to the right place!

Membership fees consist of a $70 refundable deposit and dues of $30 per month. Aircraft rental rates are as low as $100 per hour, tachometer time, wet (fuel included). Read more about the club or view and download the application on our signup page. For more information, please contact our Membership Officer <membership AT alameda-aero DOT com>.

Aircraft owners: the club is always looking for aircraft, especially either another 172 or a small complex aircraft (something like an Arrow, Cardinal RG, etc.) for leaseback to the club. Our leaseback deal is very attractive, and you remain in complete control! E-mail our Club President <president AT alameda-aero DOT com> or Chief Pilot <chiefpilot AT alameda-aero DOT com> for details.
