Video Library
The video library is available to members of the Alameda Aero Club only.
To check out any of the videos or software below, follow these steps:
1. Select tape name and tape code (note cost and time interval).
2. Call or email Ginny Wilken (phone number below) and leave message including your name, club #, title/tape code, and phone number and time your call may be returned.
3. Ginny will return your call or email and make mutually-agreeable arrangements for you to get your selection. You will receive a checkout invoice that has the date of return.
4. Charges for the tapes/software appear on your monthly statement - you do not pay Ginny directly. If selection is kept beyond the rental period the amount doubles for the next time interval and continues to double with each new time interval until the tape is returned or until the charges equal the cost of replacement, including shipping. You will NOT be called to remind you of your return date.
5. Return tapes to the blue video box in the club office. Leave a telephone message on Ginny's phone that you returned the selection so that you will not receive additional charges.

WRITTEN EXAM COURSES <-step ground schools that cover every aeronautical principle, type of problem and key facts that the FAA requires you to know when you take the written exam. The King computer written exam software allows you to choose the questions by subject or general review. You can see on-screen correct answers and detailed explanations. Video courses require about 10-12 hours of viewing. Practice tests and study time are in addition. The FAA now changes the test questions continuously rather than an update each two years. To address this change King Schools post the new questions and the correct answers about once every two months. The Alameda Aero Club subscribes to these updates and they are available to our members upon request.
