General Meetings
We hold general membership meetings as deemed necessary, with at least one annual meeting held in September to elect the Board of Directors for the following year. The meetings will always include some interesting and educational entertainment, and of course are a good venue for becoming acquinated with your fellow members. Meetings are normally held at the former FAA building next to the Oakland Western Aerospace Museum (for directions, see the maps, or there's a set of directions on the Museum's own home page).
Board Meetings
Board meetings are usually held at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesdays of even months. The next Board Meeting will be Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 7:00 p.m, at the usual venue: McGrath's Pub, 1539 Lincoln Avenue, Alameda. We use the back room -- you may have to step over a bunch of likely-looking musicians to get to us.
Board meetings are open to all club members, and as an added bonus, if you find the meetings too boring (they're not always exactly the most exciting things on earth), you can always enjoy McGrath's Pub itself -- one of Alameda's hidden treasures, owned by CFI, plane owner, and club friend Peter Barnato!
